One of the region's leading rural property agents Broadley and Coulson, has this week moved into newly refurbished offices in the centre of Crook, County Durham - the very same premises it occupied when the business originally formed in 1917.
Senior partner and original founder David Coulson decided to make the move to South Street following significant client growth and an ever-increasing demand for space. The new offices are also more up-to-date, catering for the needs of the eight staff and three partners as well as the company' clients.
Broadley and Coulson has a history spanning over 90 years, boasting second-to-none local knowledge and hands-on rural experience however, the firm's niche expertise on the region's rural market spreads much further a field than its physical geographical presence - encompassing other areas such as Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Teesside and North Yorkshire.
David, who is also regional policy spokesman on rural affairs for the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), commented: "The fact that we have relocated to the same premises we vacated 20 years ago actually signifies growth and future opportunities for us rather than regression. We are excited to be taking the business forward while maintaining our roots and investing in the local community.
"With a more prominent, central office we hope to benefit from a greater presence in Crook and ultimately generate increased footfall."
