Following the lucrative sale of Greenwell Farm in Lanchester, Crook-based rural chartered surveyors Broadley and Coulson is inviting farmers from across the region to take advantage of the auctioning of the remaining farm machinery.
Led by David Coulson, senior partner at Broadley and Coulson, and Carlislebased chartered surveyors Harrison and Hetherington, the auction will see a range of high quality farming machinery lots go to the highest bidder.
The machinery, notably maintained to an excellent standard, includes tractors, trailers, implements, attachments and some miscellaneous items.
David said: "Although the rural market has improved in the North East, the economic climate remains uncertain and farmers need to be cautious when it comes to spending.
"Purchasing second hand equipment allows farmers to make a considerable saving compared to buying brand new, and as much of the machinery is less than three years old, a real deal is to be had at this auction.
"I would encourage farmers in the North East to come along on the day and see what we have to offer."
The auction will take place on Tuesday 14th September 2010 at Greenwell Farm, Lanchester, near Durham, DH7 0ST from 1.30pm prompt. Attendees are advised that payment for goods purchased is to be made on the day of sale by cheque or bakers draft and cash will not be accepted.
